Hi, I'm Makenah, a graphic designer born and raised in AZ. I'm the oldest of three, a big fan of music, a coffee addict, and a sushi lover.

I got my start in digital art as a kid, drawing in Microsoft Paint and never looking back. In high school, I enrolled in a two-year multimedia program at the East Valley Institute of Technology where I focused on graphic design and photography, worked with real clients, and completed an off-campus internship. That experience launched a career that’s taken me from family businesses to billion-dollar brands.

I'm passionate about learning and love sharing what I know. I've attended Adobe MAX for the past two years, and even got to learn from THE Aaron Draplin in person [insert fan-girl squeals here]. I've also taught at the Higley Leadership Academy and currently support CTE graphic design teachers as an instructional coach.

When I’m not designing, you’ll find me hiking a trail, curled up with a fantasy book, dancing at a concert, or (most likely) hanging out with my dog.
